Nobuyoshi ARAKI + MASH "Arakitronics" 1994 Photobook

Availability: Out of stock

Nobuyoshi ARAKI, photographer. "Arakitronics." MASH, model. Japan: Fuga Shobo, 1994, First Edition, HB, (no dj, as issued), 22 cm x 27 cm, Approx. 300 pp, color photos.

Fuga Shobo was a publishing company which burst upon the scene after the Japanese Government's easing of censorship restrictions with high quality publications by Nobuyoshi Araki, Akira Gomi and others. Within two years the company was bankrupt leaving many great photobooks in a permanently out-of-print state. Mash, the daring model, is known from Akira Gomi’s “Yellows” publications (presumably an amateur at that time) and Mario A.’s “F the Geisha” photobook. Another connection: Akira Gomi is credited for “Digital Print” in the end credits of this book.

Condition: Very Good.
