A beautiful catalog from the Kochi Museum of Art's 2012 traveling joint exhibition of 155 prints by Ishimoto. Includes works from throughout Ishimoto's career including those from Chicago, Tokyo, Katsura Imperial Villa, Ise Shrine, Shibuya, Shibuya, Color and Composition and Nude. Essay, The Allure of Memory by Yokoe FUMINORI along with other biographical info, quotations, chronology, etc. A perfect book of Ishimoto's greatest works but one that is still not often seen.

On the occasion of a retrospective exhibition held in 2001 at the Museum of Art, Kochi, Ishimoto donated a vast collection of his works and materials, including approximately 30,000 prints and 150,000 sheets of film, as well as books, camera equipment and other items, to Kochi Prefecture, his parents' home province. Ishimoto was still consulting with the Museum on this book and exhibition at the time of his death in February 2012 at the age of 90.
